Q: I do believe the power of mind and also accept all the abilities of Remote Viewing as mentioned in your website.

But I have a query, and that might be very different than other's doubts.

Well, if remote viewing is so powerful, then why the most dangerous terrorist of this world still enjoying a free life? Why no one has located him yet? World is spending billions of dollars to catch him, but he is evading and escaping.

If remote viewing is so powerful as you say, then why can't anyone locate his hideout or persuade him by mental command to surrender?

At least by this we can save mankind, can't we?

A: Hi Joy, thank you for writing and for your interest in Jose Silva's UltraMind ESP System, and for your question about how to locate someone who doesn't want to be found, like Osama Bin Laden.

Psychic ability - ESP - is not magic. It is one more way to communicate, an additional set of senses that we can use.

Remote Viewing is one aspect of ESP. We can actually do much more than simply remotely view the outer appearance of things.

The "Technical Remote Viewing" that our military did for many years begins by giving the remote viewer the location of the target. Then the remote viewer reports on what he or she detects at that location.

The books on those projects, like Psychic Warrior, explain how the military got involved: They wanted to know what the Russians were building inside a huge building. A psychic in California projected his mind there - Effective Sensory Projection - and described what he detected with his mind. A year later the Russians brought the device outside and our spy plans were able to photograph it, and it looked exactly like the psychic had reported.

With Jose Silva's systems, you can project your mind to a specific individual no matter where that individual is. Once you do that, you can try to observe something in the environment that will give you a clue as to where the person is.

You can project to a runaway teenager for example, and then you can study the surrounding area and try to identify a street sign, or a business, that might give you a clue as to where the person is. Obviously it takes some practice to develop this kind of ability.

Suppose you were to develop that ability and you projected to where Osama Bin Laden is and you looked around (mentally), what would you see: A cave. How would you figure out where the cave is? Evidently our military knows approximately where he is, but not the specific cave. Only someone who is so familiar with the area that they could tell one cave from another would be any help.

Dowsing might be a way to pinpoint a specific location. An experienced dowser could hold a pendulum over a map, for instance, and locate the target (Bin Laden) that way.

Another challenge is that no psychic is 100 percent accurate, not the "naturally developed" psychics, or trained psychics. The overall accuracy is about 80 percent.

However, trained psychics - who have a common method of working - can correlate the information that they detect and eliminate the error factor.

Mr. Silva did a project like that when a woman came to class and wanted to get information about her husband, who was missing in action in Vietnam. He was a pilot who had been shot down.

Mr. Silva set up 5 teams with 2 psychics on each team. They took turns going to level, and submitted information that they both agreed on as their team report. If only one member detected something, they didn't include that in the report, only information that both of them had detected independently.

Then Mr. Silva took the reports from all five teams and correlated the information: If two of the teams had the same information, he accept it.

The results were that the pilot was alive, he had injured his back when the airplane went down, he was still alive.

After she got the report, she realized that there was one more thing she had forgotten to ask: When would she get objective confirmation of this? So the teams went back to work to determine when she would hear. The date they came up with was the 4th of July, Independence Day in the US.

Sure enough, the North Vietnamese made an announcement on that date that they would be releasing 5 prisoners. A few days later they gave the names.

When the pilot returned to the US, he confirmed all of the things that the psychics had detected. He also took the Silva course, and recommended it whenever he gave a talk about his experiences.

So the Correlation Method is an effective way to get accurate information. But we need people who are willing to do the work to develop their ability as psychics, and to practice and do these kinds of projects.

It is best, of course, if the psychics have some knowledge of the subject they are working on. In the case of the pilot, his wife was there to answer questions and give details about her husband to the psychics.

In the example of a runaway that we mentioned earlier, psychics could use something that had belonged to the runaway to help them tune in to the specific person. That is called psychometry, and we also teach that in the UltraMind ESP System.

Back in 1965 Mr. Silva had gone as far as he could go with his research. He had a reliable way to train psychics - everybody is a natural psychic, all we do is help you learn how to use this natural God-given ability.

He offered all of his research, free of charge, to the United State government. He got a letter back that said that they had no need for this. He offered it to the church and the schools but nobody had enough foresight to see any value in it. Then when a group of artists heard about his work and asked him to teach them, he began teaching it to the public.

Regarding the terrorist, there is one more factor to consider. Mr. Silva pledged to himself that he would never use anything that he learned about ESP to harm any human being.

If we catch Osama Bin Laden, it is almost certain that he will be harmed - probably executed.

Mr. Silva encountered a similar situation many years ago. He was teaching in a certain city in Texas when the police paid him a visit. They had heard about him and wondered if he could help them solve a murder case.

He told them that about his pledge never to use what he had learned to harm anyone, and they countered that if the murderer was not caught, he might murder again, so failure to help might result in someone being harmed.

That was a good point, so he told the police that he would review their material and transmit it to higher intelligence - God - and let higher intelligence decide what to do.

When the police left all of the information on the case with him, he studied it and programmed that night, for higher intelligence to intervene and help. The next day, the murderer was caught.

As I said, ESP is not magic. There are ways that we can use it to correct problems and improve conditions on the planet, and that is why we were sent here. God is spiritual, not physical, so the only way that God can have a presence on earth is through us.

As someone said, we are to God, what our fingers are to our hand.

We are the fingers on the hand of God. We can detect information and transmit it back to higher intelligence on the "other side," and when we can use our physical body to do the work that needs to be done in the physical world.
